Until recently, the Woodhall Estate has not been available for events’ hire. Indeed it remains private and our core businesses continue to be the sustainable management of the rural and building portfolios across the Estate.
However given the Estate’s suitability towards some outdoor public events and its superb location, we are happy to hear from professional event organisers and to consider a variety of outdoor public events. For example, we now host Warrior Adrenaline Race, an obstacle run over several distances that attracts participants from all around the country.
The centre of the Estate is the eighteenth century 400-acre park, in which sits the magnificent Georgian mansion and beautiful parkland landscape surrounded by the original park wall. The wider Estate offers a diverse range of settings, topographies, woodlands and waters. The Estate is approximately 25 miles north of London and close to the A1(M), M1, A10, Stevenage (East Coast north-south mainline), Hertford (commuter lines to Liverpool Street & Moorgate), Stansted Airport and Luton Airport.
For enquiries please contact the Estate Office and we will be delighted to discuss your event. Please note that any requests are carefully considered in terms of their impact to the land and to our ongoing environmental objectives. Kindly note that currently we do not host weddings, private parties nor any indoor events.
On 9th September Woodhall Estate are pleased to be hosting the 2017 Warrior Adrenaline Race, from Regiment Fitness – offering 5km,10km and 20km obstacle experiences through the Estate’s stunning historic parkland and woodland. Adult and junior courses, featuring slides, tunnels, rope climbs and water, ensure fun and challenges for family and friends, whilst also being a great way to raise funds for charity.
