The way it works
Lettings are managed by our in-house team based at the Estate Office in Woodhall Park. We are an expert, highly professional, yet small team, which values the personal touch in everything we do. As such, your experience of renting a property at Woodhall Estate will be markedly different to a usual estate agency, both during the negotiation and whilst you live in one of our properties.
If you are interested in an available property, the first thing to do is to get in touch with us. Viewings are strictly by appointment only. After a detailed discussion with one of our team, if appropriate, we will be pleased to arrange a viewing. Properties are usually let unfurnished and our standard lease term is for 2 years. The estate’s Buildings & Facilities Department maintains all properties.
If after the viewing you would like to proceed with your application, we will ask you to provide further details and to confirm your agreement to the asking rent. If accepted, we will then proceed to prepare an Assured Shorthold Tenancy lease and request payment of one month’s deposit. We will then prepare the property for your move-in. An inventory and schedule of condition will be carried out and an information pack will be provided for you about your property and the estate.
Once you are moved in, any maintenance issues are to be reported via the Estate Office’s help desk. If a call-out is required, the help desk will assign the job to our Buildings & Facilities Department who will respond according to priority.
