From ancient woodland and chalk streams to productive farmland and rich wildlife habitats, Woodhall Estate is a living landscape, shaped by people, sustained by nature and cared for with a long-term vision.
Rooted in heritage and focused on the future, Woodhall Estate continues to nurture its land, support biodiversity and help shape a thriving countryside for generations to come.
Biodiversity
At Woodhall Estate, we balance conservation with food production, enhancing biodiversity through natural regeneration, new woodlands, wetlands, and watercourses.
Farming & Food
Woodhall Estate continues a long family tradition, producing wheat, barley, oilseed rape, oats, and beans, alongside a grazing flock of ewes that enrich the estate’s diverse landscape.
Woodlands
The Estate’s forestry team manage ancient woodlands through a 25-year programme of selective felling and thinning to encourage natural regeneration.
River & Wetlands
Set in the Beane Valley, Woodhall Estate is home to three miles of the River Beane – a rare chalk stream and one of only 200 in the world.
